Indoor Karting, Feb '08

Well, what can I say!! Absolutely fantastic and totally exhilirating ...... especially the part when I took Kurlie out!! It was so much fun...and to say it was mine and Warmheart's first time ever Karting ... we did pretty well to say we were only 1 second behind the supposedly professionals, Kurlie and Bungie!!!! Bring on the next challenge ........ we're waiting boys!!!

Life's too short ...

I originally responded to the "Boots and Beer" advert in the listings in the Telegraph. I was looking for somebody to go walking with but found the image of the "Ramblers" a bit too scary. At the time I didn't know anything of the other activities the group offered. Since then I've been to Bar Nights, Pub Quiz, Theatre and 2 weekends away, one of which was in Ireland which was the furthest I've been in 25 years. Last year and this year I made it my New Year resolution to try something new. I know it won't be anything like parachuting but there is loads of stuff to choose from. And as we all know - Life's too short to stuff a mushroom !

Largs Sailing Trip

Hi Ken & Annie,

Just a quick line to thank you as I really enjoyed the trip.

Networking Event

Hi Ken,

It was good to meet you yesterday at the Business Link event. I just love the whole idea of your business. Great name. Fabulous web site that looks absolutely stunning. You are to be congratulated on coming up with such a stylish theme and a business model that seems perfectly pitched at "now". What I mean by that is, many people are now realising they are missing out on the human interaction with the proliferation of multi channel TV and of course the ubiquitous Internet so there has never been a more timely need for your business than "now".

Roving Rendezvous for 20's and 30's

Hi Ken!

Nice to hear from you again. I keep thinking VaVaVita is a fantastic way of meeting people! I would really enjoy to be part of your team.

To begin with, I prefer the "Roving Rendez-vous" group for 20's and 30's (it's more my cup of tea!) and I would be very curious to discover those people.

Barden Bunk Barn Weekend

Hi there Ken

Just letting you know that I had fantastic time at the weekend. I still keep laughing out loud at the banter that went on and some of the things that happened.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well everyone got on, as I didn't know the others very well and you're all regular walkers.

Horse MacDonald - who she?

Dearest Ken and Annie,

What can I say? It is almost one a.m. and I can't switch off. I don't think I have ever been so totally and deeply affected before (and that includes live Beatles and Everly Brothers etc. etc.)...when I was but an embrio!!! How could we possibly explain to the "Others"..what it was like??? We can''t...we just can't ... they missed magic tonight!

So I just thank you for the honour of allowing me to share it with you. I will never forget it!

G. Apr '06. (Speaking about Horse MacDonald - a little known artist who appeared at the Boardwalk some time ago. We gave it a try and left entranced. "Horse MacDonald is the kind of singer who can touch the coldest heart with one note - her songs are both devastating and uplifting and her voice is stunning.")

First Night Welcome

Hi Ken, I would like like to thank yourself and all of the others in making me feel welcome the other night. Not once did i feel out of place. The meal was excellent and the company was tremendous.
